Why Join North Carolina Volunteers, America’s Volunteers?

We have many potential threats as residents of our state, both natural and manmade disasters which can stress our local Police, Fire, EMS and Infrastructure beyond the limits they were meant to function at. We face Tornadoes, Severe Storms, winter Storms, Earth Quakes, Wildfires, Floods, Prolonged Power Outages, Possible Terrorist Attacks, Rail way and traffic Accidents involving Hazardous Materials which may affect our communities, and Industrial Accidents at many plants throughout our state that could have a negative effect on our health and safety.

We also face the possibility of Political Unrest, and Economic Collapse, which would cause civil unrest, which poses a threat to our safety, our family’s safety, and the safety of the members of our community, county, state and nation.

NC Volunteers is a Statewide Civil Preparedness Group.  We believe that each citizen must be self-reliant, and able to take care of themselves, Family, and neighbors in times of need, and later be able to help their neighborhood, county and state to recover from possible problems that may result from large scale disasters, and the civil unrest that will follow long durations where help is not available.

Our goal is to help train our citizens in Urban and Wilderness Survival, Disaster Preparedness, Response and Relief, Emergency Medical Operations, Radio Communications Skills, Defense Tactics to secure their homes and communities, and give each the tools to be able to help and protect their family, neighbors, and serve their communities and fellow citizens in times of need.

If you are a an American Citizen, and resident of North Carolina  18 years or older, do not have a felony record, believe in the Constitution of the United States of America, the vision of our Founding Fathers, and you want to help your family, local community,  state, and nation in times of need, then feel free to join us.
